Arvada, Colo.—The Noerr Programs Corporation recently received a prestigious award from the City of Arvada recognizing the company for its unique business operation and commitment to the community.
Judy Noerr and Philip J. Byrne II, co-CEO’s of The Noerr Programs received the 2011 Outstanding Arvada Business Award given by the Arvada Economic Development Association (AEDA) and the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. Arvada Mayor Bob Frie and Frank Barone, president of the AEDA Board of Directors, presented the plaque to the two business leaders.
“Our organization honors Arvada business leaders each year to showcase the hard work and commitment they bring to the Arvada community. This awards program recognizes those that make Arvada a great place to live and do business," said Barone.
The Noerr Programs, operators of the Santa Photo Experience at shopping malls and locations nationwide, was selected for the recognition from among 4,500 Arvada businesses ranging from home-based, manufacturing and retail, to restaurants, research and development corporations, restaurants, and service companies.
The Economic Development Association in Arvada is the community’s business-to-government liaison and a strategic resource for business growth. Operationally funded by the City of Arvada, AEDA’s board of directors consists of 17 business and community volunteers dedicated to providing innovative solutions for business, as well as attracting targeted industries and helping current businesses thrive.

“Our city's business environment is unique in that city representatives—from city council to management to all staff levels in the organization—partner with us to ensure a supportive business climate," said Hartbarger.
“We are honored to receive this important award,” said Judy Noerr.
The Noerr Programs employs 36 employees from its headquarters in Arvada and more than 2,500 seasonal cast members each holiday season, along with 250 authentic, naturally-bearded Santas for the malls.
